Install from the browser share menu. On iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen. On Android: menu → Install app. The icon will say Not My $.
When the icon changes, Android usually picks it up the next time you open the app. iPhone caches the old one — delete the home-screen icon, open Not My $, then Add to Home Screen again. We ship each icon under a new file name so the phone cannot keep serving the stale picture.
